Access at the Expo
Here at The Great Northern Creative Expo we are dedicated to providing an experience which is accessible, welcoming and inclusive. On this page, you’ll find some information you might find useful about the accessibility of our venues and other relevant information.
If you have any further concerns, please don’t hesitate to get in touch – you can email us firstname.lastname@example.org.
As part of The Great Northern Creative Expo, we offer a variety of accessible screenings and Q&As. As part of the Expo’s inclusivity pledge, all events are suitable for patrons who are deaf or hard of hearing, with our screenings appearing with subtitles and all film introductions and Q&A sessions will be BSL interpreted.
Toilet facilities are accessible on all levels.
Guide dogs and assistance dogs are very welcome to attend events with you.
Please see our venues page for access facilities at each location.
We do not offer reserved seating for the Expo as a rule, however, if you require particular seating in order to accommodate any access needs, such as for mobility needs, sight or hearing needs, or any other needs to make your viewing experience more comfortable, please let us know. You can let us know either in advance or when you arrive. We will arrange for the appropriate seating to be held for you for each screening or event you attend.
Please let us know in advance if you are a wheelchair user or are booking on behalf of a wheelchair user so that we can adjust our capacity and ensure the space is reserved.
If you require the use of a space for prayer or other devotion, the Oasis Faith and Spirituality Centre is located very near to the Media Factory. Please get in touch and we can help arrange access to this space.
